Thanksgiving in Texas

Every Thanksgiving for as long as I can remember the Nolan family has spent the day giving thanks with dear friends. Through the years these friends have become family as well.

Thanksgiving is my dad's favorite holiday because Thanksgiving's purpose cannot be tainted. It is always about thanking God for all He has given us. My mom puts little peices of corn at everyone's seat...every piece of corn stands for something we are thankful for. Everyone fights over the seat with the least peices of corn. We all pretend we hate the tradition...but not so...it is what we look forward to.

Each time I look at this house I can't help but humm this hymn....Praise God from whom all blessings flow...praise Him all creatures here below...praise Him all ye heavenly host...praise Father, Son, and Holy Gost AMEN!!!!!
I'm sure you can understand. We are so excited about the ministry of this house.

Patch has been able to help build the new house!!!!!

house roll'n in

God blessed camp with new log homes and now they are literally roll'n in. It should only take a day to put the shells of the homes up.
